    
SANDALS Resorts International (SRI) has advised Sagicor Pooled Investment Fund Limited, the owners of the property at which Sandals Dunn's River Villaggio Golf Resort and Spa is operated, that it will not renew the lease which expires on May 31 ,2010.
Sandals Dunn's River Resort will discontinue operations on 7/30/2010
The Luxury Included Resort chain has operated a Sandals resort at that Mammee Bay, St Ann location for the past 15 years and has enjoyed "an excellent partnership and fantastic relationship with the owner which has worked to each party's benefit", a statement from SRI said yesterday.
Sandals said the marketplace for the product had changed significantly and as a result it no longer fitted in the Sandals luxury product range.

“they're always the best”- Travelogue sandals/beaches has been a wonderful experience for both times that i went. i first went to sandals grande in ocho rios in 2005 and have been trying to get back ever since but was back in school. i gradualted in 2007 and had a baby boy and had to take him with me. me and my 1 year old had a blast. it was everything that i wanted and more. the people, the food the sports, the beach, the pool was wonderful. because it was my second time coming i got concierge treatment which i thought was awesome. can't wait to come back next year. see you in 2007.
