Three-Day Grand Opening Celebration Welcomed Celebrity Couples, Music Performances by Sean Paul and Shaggy and VIP Industry Partners
On October 4 – 7, 2007, Sandals Grande Antigua Resort & Spa welcomed celebrities, tour operators, travel agents and media to the grand opening of its new, all-suite Mediterranean Village. The three-day extravaganza kicked off Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Gordon “Butch” Stewart, chairman and founder of Sandals Resorts. Eight Plantation Suites Set to Arrive in Late April 2008
Sandals Negril Beach Resort & Spa in Jamaica is proud to announce that it is nearing completion on eight new Plantation Suites set to debut in late April 2008. The latest in a new line of luxury suites that have premiered at multiple Sandals Resorts in recent months, these suites will be reminiscent of a Plantation House, complete with West Indian-themed décor. Five of the eight Plantation Suites will include a private plunge pool, outdoor shower and lush garden, while the remaining three suites will feature romantic, private balconies.
Indoors, the Plantation Suites will include every modern luxury and convenience, featuring: vessel sinks, a Jacuzzi tub tucked in a secluded alcove complete with a romantic light dimmer, a fully stocked bar, and not one, but two, flat screen televisions. Lavish West-Indian style furnishings, such as solid mahogany carved furniture, and cool marble will also be incorporated into the design of the suites to create a mix of traditional and modern elegance. The Plantation suites wouldn’t be complete without hints of sea blues and greens that adorn the fabrics and furnishings, creating the ultimate Caribbean feel. |
