“5th time back at a Sandals”

This is our 5th time back at a Sandals resort and overall we had a wonderful time. The beach is beautiful and the food was good as was the service. There is always plenty to do and lots of entertainment at night. We got an upgrade for being returning members which is always a nice aknowlegment and keeps up coming back. The only complaints I have was that on Wednesday they allow Cruise ship people to come to the beach which is just not right. They were loud, obnoxious and rude and moved our things from our chairs when we went snorkling. This resort is for couples only and I am very disappointed in Sandals for allowing this. Also, the ironing board was filthy in our room. Also, the pools need major renovating to update them. All in all it was a beautiful week.

“A Very Nice Visit”

We spent four nights at the Royal Caribbean, and then we continued our vacation at Sandals Whitehouse. After staying at Whitehouse and having an earlier visit to Sandals Negril, I can sum up SRC as "Sandals Light". The resort is a little older, but it has been kept up pretty well. The resort is smaller than the others, but it is cozy, and the furnishings and the grounds in the public areas are very well kept. The food at the restaurants is good, and of course the drinks are plentiful and tasty. The true secret to SRC is the private island which has a small pool with a swim up bar; it is much quieter here than it is at the main pool which often has games and activities and music. There is a "clothing optional" beach area; if this isn't your thing, you may want to avoid that area. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the service was oustanding as usual. One disappointment are the burgers - preformed frozen patties with the grill lines "painted" on - which is the only kind they serve at the Grill or Cricekter's Pub...........but the rest of the food is good, particularly the Jamaican food. All the rest of the resort is like the other Sandals, just on a smaller scale.
