“Best yet”

We went for our 8yr anniversary and loved it!!! We've been to other sandals resorts and by far royal carribean takes the cake. Why? Because of the atmosphere, staff, and food. It's so cozy and easy to get to know other couples. We made friends from around the world in our 5night stay. The staff is beyond friendly. We met so many nice staff members, Monica our housecleaning lady(our 2nd mother), David (soon come back manager), Anthony (security), and last but not least the cricketeer guys..Junior, Kevin, and Theon. We were there every night and every night was a party!!:) The food was excellent, don't pay attention to all the other reviews. You have to remember you're in another country and the way they cook is different. As for the Thai restaurant....pure bliss. I think all the bad reviews are because they haven't experienced REAL thai food. We never had any problems with any of the food. All in all we have no complaints, we were there to relax and spend quality time with each other. As it is we booked for next year before our vacation was over!! The only thing I'd like to say is that for all the complainers, if you know you're gonna be that picky...stay home!!!

Food: The food overall was okay. My husband enjoyed it much better than I did. I am very picky when it comes to food and am not willing to try new stuff, but my husband loved the all the food. We were not impressed with the Royal Thai though. I had read so many reviews on how wonderful this place was and how great the service is, but we were not impressed, neither were other couples that were over there with us. To anyone who is impatient: the service at SRC (and I would assume Jamaica in general) is very slow! My husband would be done with one course 5 minutes after they brought it, and would have to wait another 15 minutes to get the next course!
